Todos Santos is a Pueblo Mágico on the Pacific about 110 kilometres from the airport, and it is the antidote to Cabo San Lucas: an old sugar town with galleries, a hotel scene built around restored colonial buildings, surf breaks at Cerritos and Pescadero, and the Sierra de la Laguna behind it. People come for a few days from Los Cabos and people fly in and stay the whole trip, and both need the same thing — a vehicle that is actually going there.
The route runs through Cabo San Lucas and then north on Highway 19 along the Pacific, which makes this one of the longer runs on the peninsula and one where the "cheap" alternatives stop being alternatives. There is bus service between the towns, but it does not start inside the SJD terminal and it ends at a stop rather than at your hotel, which matters in a town where a lot of the accommodation is a boutique property on a side street or a rental out toward the beach.
Two practical notes worth having before you arrive. The beaches around Todos Santos are Pacific beaches: Cerritos is the one people actually swim and learn to surf at, and several of the others have currents that make them scenic rather than swimmable. And the town itself is compact and walkable, but the surf breaks and the beach rentals south toward Pescadero are not — if you are staying out there, plan the rides in and out rather than assuming you will find one.
