Los Cabos Airport: arrivals & transfers
SJD is the gateway to Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, the Tourist Corridor and the whole southern tip of Baja. Here’s how to land, clear customs and get to where you are staying with the least fuss — met by name, in a private vehicle, at a flat rate agreed before you fly.

SJD has two passenger terminals, and they are separate buildings — not two halls of the same one. Your airline decides which you land at. Tell us your flight number and your driver is sent to the right building.
Not sure which one? It’s printed on your boarding pass — and we track your flight either way, so a gate change or a delay does not leave you looking for a driver at the wrong terminal.
From landing to your door
Clear immigration, pick up your bags and pass through customs. At peak times this takes a while — no problem, the wait counts from your actual landing and your driver stays.
Right after customs there is a row of timeshare and taxi desks. None of them is us. They will offer you a ride, a tour or a “free” breakfast — you do not need any of it, keep walking to the exit.
Your eTransfers driver waits just outside the terminal exit with a sign with your name on it. Nobody who approaches you inside the building is your driver.
A private, air-conditioned vehicle straight to your hotel, villa or gated community — no sharing, no stops, nothing left to pay.
What about Uber or a taxi at the airport?
Uber operates in Los Cabos, but it is not allowed to pick up at the SJD terminal — so it is not something you can count on for the ride in. The taxis waiting outside are authorized, but the fare is agreed on the spot and it is the most expensive way to leave this airport. A transfer booked in advance settles the price before you land.
